The women’s movement has generated a complex forcefield of multiple identities in their deconstruction and their metamorphosis, Undoing the patriarchal divinization of masculine identity, feminist theology also works against the dominion of “man over nature” that dangerously dissociates our species from its ecology. Does the synergy of post-patriarchal theology with a radically relational cosmology enhance the possibility of planetary healing?

Catherine Keller is Professor of Constructive Theology at The Theological School of Drew University. She works in the intersections of ecological, process, feminist, political, and pluralist theology. Recent books include. No Matter What: Crisis and the Spirit of Planetary Possibility; Facing Apocalypse: Climate, Democracy and Other Last Chances, and Cloud of the Impossible: Negative Theology and Planetary Entanglement. She has coedited several volumes of the Drew Transdisciplinary Theological Colloquium.
